I think its a Barn Owl slaughtering one of my Grassie hot spots, what do you think it is, time, around 3pm.

I would agree with SEOwl. Brown markings concentrated on the breast, plain on belly + distinctive wing patterning. I nearly stepped on one while walking across a local common last week, beautiful creature.
