Hi all,

I know I've mentioned this before somewhere, but can't remember where.

Lee Valley park began to install this pond a couple of years ago. They really put a lot of time and effort into the surrounding habitat and it looks great - see below.

I saw a Heron there last week and yesterday, so there must something in there for him to want to eat. And the good news is that I saw newts and tadpoles there today. makes such a change to have positive stuff to report. I wished other organisations could take some lessons from these guys, well down Lee Valley Park, you deserve a pat on the back - whoever you are. And the coppicing is a good idea as well by the way!
