HI ALL here is a little beaut male/fem? I found  today at 9.45am on Studland heath  only had less the 4mins in my hand for photos then let go did not panic or try to escape real pleased to see a young one as only seen adults .keith

lovely snake keith. that with the walls and greens must have made this a pretty good week for you. are you travelling daily or staying over?

Hi Tim Rob I stayed over for three days didnt see the osprey
 but I am sure that  I see 2 pair of harriers .the sand lizard
 sighting was a disaster I only see one tatty small male
who would not oblige a pic . All I can say is that most of the
spots in Studland have been lost to constant recreational use
 of the areas I know there are still the exceptions of colonies but
 on the whole they have completly dissapeared from the
grassy dunes near the ferry end also so have the adders that
once upon a time  about every gorse bush contained one  and common
 lizards and sloworms that were abundant have dissapeared
or perhaps the birds of prey have taken them keith ps did see a natrix
