A few of my slow-worms look very large around the middle, it could of course be diet time but anyone think there are babies inside?

For sure!

A gravid female is a good sign that you have suitable habitat so the young should do well. You may never see the tiny juveniles, we rarely do but in a year or two it will be obvious you have healthy young slowies!

I looked under the cover yesterday and as well as the usual group of fatties there was a cluster of 3 or four juveniles about 5 inches long so I guess they are last years?
