Hi again,
I know most of Turkey is far from the UK, but I'm an expat living in the region and don't know anyone here who knows the answers.  Any idea of what this little fellow is--found in southern Turkey last week?  Or could you refer me to a forum/someone who might?  Thank you!

This is a little trickier but is almost certainly the spur-thighed tortoise (Testudo graeca - probably sub-species ibera)

Thank you, Chris!  I do know that the Spur-thighed Tortoise is often seen in that area, so it sounds right.  Appreciate the reply.
