Iv just saw my first baby female adder. Amazing my last day in wales, walking on sand dunes in n wales and crossing infront was a female, iv been on a few walks here looking with no luck, yet i see one when im not looking and where i least expect it, day time about 1040 am sunny, it was crossing the main path onto the beach. Tiny, i was thrilled, are thry common on sand dunes theres more habitat near eg heath but it was conpletly on sand and tussocky grass area, plenty to eat there will it live in the sand? Hope its safe as dont want it to be eaten. I took pics 😄

Excellent Phillip, always amazing when you get that first one! Adders will use beaches which often have plenty of basking opportunity, so no need to worry I'm sure it's just enjoying the weather. Thumbs Up
