I've just joined this group and so apologies if this subject has already been discussed.  It concerns small dark leeches we find on frogs, mostly around (in?) the eyes.  They cannot be removed and the frog is in poor condition and usually dies.
What species are these leeches; what can we do for the infected frogs; can we prevent further infections?

Thank you in advance.

Brian
