As I was working in Dorset I decided to have a quick skive on March 12th and headed down to Boscombe in the sunshine to see if anything was about. The wind was very cold and there was still some snow in the grass by the road but it became calmer and warmer as I descended the path.A lot of the gorse has been cut back  now but as I neared the beach I spotted my first Wall lizard of the year.A rather rubbish photo but I only had my phone with me.
