Bloody hell, what a pic. Don't show that to Bill Oddie, he'll have kittens!......And more to the point don't show it to any local papers as it eill suddenly become a " twenty foot foot fire breathing Adder that eats dogs!"

Mornin' Tony,
This is quite near Pirbright and the ranges can be heard while mooching. It's part of Sheats Heath.

Cheers,
Al

This preggie female was very aggressive, she was handled very gently, must have been the heat

Superb Picture

I found with a female I found early on in the day just after the rain had stopped she was too cold to make a break for it so She hissed and struck at me and Steve lots.

Great picture

Hi , no it is some tongs that have been heavily bandaged for handling the snakes, I can pick the adders up with very little disturbance with these(usually)

Litter picker tongs or custom made snake ones?

Hi Jon , i use 18" spade tip feeding tongs, they open quite wide and are easy to tape up. they are really hard to find though!
