The HGBI is rebranding its name revitalise itself with a new committee, a consitution, a bank account and most importantly independance from Froglife who were the secretariat of the HGBI.... The ARG UK will be the representative body for the Amphibian & Reptile Groups of the UK - more info can be found on a new blog http://www.arguk.iblogs.com - www.arguk.iblogs.com A really good thing that has now been arranged is the 2006 Herp Workers Meeting which will be on the 4th and 5th February 2006 in Coventry More details to follow

The ARG UK will now be working alongside HCT, Froglife and our advisors EN, (soon to be NE), EA, IEEM etc The programme for the Herp Workers Meeting is being completed as I write this post and it has really good speakers and workshops - there will be two social evenings - Friday - Curry night while our Saturday evening speaker is Mark O'Shea who will also be helping with the launch of the ARG UK..... Outstanding! |
