Hello,

My grandad called me to tell me he'd found a 'lizard' - rushed over, expecting to see a common lizard, alas - a newt! LOL
Not too hot on newt ID, so here's a shot of me holding the critter
I'd appreciate any help!
Amy

Nelly?Wink

99.9% certain a female smooth newt, though female palmate newts are very similar.

Haha, thanks for the naming tips! ;)
I had suspicions of a smooth newt as well, but as I was saying, I wasn't sure
Thanks!
