Even more under the same tin! 15 all together at once! Anyone else found anything like this? Usually slow worms are found singly or in groups of around 2-3 according to past population studies, and I found groups of up to 5 when I was studying them a few years ago. But 15 in the same place at the same time!!! That's quite alot isn't it?

Lovely pix Robbie. I see this in my garden with the slow worms that live in a large compost heap contained within sheets of corrugated iron. The heap is 4ft by 4ft by 2ft. The 2ft varies (always more never less) as that is the actual compost content. I reckon there are 20 to 30 live in there and I see numbers like in your photo most days.
