I went to RSPB Rainham yesterday and noticed that adult frogs were feeding on something wriggling in the duckweed at the surface. It turned out that they were harvesting this year's crop of marsh froglets, which were pounced on as soon as they moved. I guess that quite a large percentage of froglets end up inside their parents this way...
