Hi.
I came across an injured slow worm last week. It had blood coming from it’s mouth and eyes. Looks like it had been stood on. I didn’t want to leave it on the pavement so took it home, cleaned it up and it has been recovering int my aviary. it appears now to be strong and responsive. I want to let it go in my garden, I have a log pile which I think would be ideal. My concern is it’s vision, which I think is low or even zero. It knows when I am doing anything inside the tank and as I said is responsive, can it cope ok with impaired vision. If it can’t I would keep and care for it but would prefer to let it go free. |
