Hey, never guess what happened today.. About 11.30am a massive crash from upstairs, sounded like a glass table lamp had been thrown by a ghost, almost as bad.

A wood pigeon had smashed straight through the casement window!!! That's right, flown right the f***k through the window.

And he was still alive. But if that wasn't bad enough, the stupid bird had snagged himself on the glass on the way through and had sliced open his crop and disgorged the entire contents of his guts on my double bed and stone coloured shag pile rug!

A more horrendous sight I don't think I've seen, especially not to clear up and that includes all of my kids illnesses etc.

If I hadn't witnessed this first hand I wouldn't have believed it. Ok, so my bedroom window is only single glazed, but he tried and hit three other windows to try to escape leaving bluey feathered bloody imprints on them all. And he still flew off.

Richard, not seen any Sparrow hawks around but two Red Kites and two Buzzards, would they chase down a Pigeon?

So Omeletto, what have you got then, bare bottom boards!?
