Snapped my first Common Lizard of the year on the Wirral yesterday. Surprised I only saw one to be honest as conditions seemed perfect.

I'm surprised you only saw one too - because there are two in the picture!

Yep the forum will do that, one can though add spaces between pictures using the return or enter key. I find it easiest to add a few blank lines first with the return key, then insert the pictures, else it is difficult to move the pictures around etc. whilst composing the post.
