I think you're both correct Gemma,
the slider is I think the one on the far left in this photo, notice the higher incidence of yellow on the neck and slightly different shape to the neck also, maybe also a shallower type lie??

This is one of our River Stour resident red ears in Sudbury they were sun bathing in March believe it or not, thanks to zoom lens as the being the other side of river and would hop it as soon as theres any form of approach Keith Edited by AGILIS - 25 May 2012 at 1:39pm |

Cheers Rob, yep that clears it up, so it was a slider on the left and a red ear on the right in the original shot.
