I saw 2 wild male Southport sand lizards last Saturday at 8.30 a.m when the air temperature was only 5 oC! even at that time of day the sand was warming up nicely .

Saw 11 males and 4 females on Sunday afternoon on southport frontals, didn't start coming out until after 15.00 was about to go home and call it a day.
Mating was taking place in enclosure today.
