Hi all good start for first day manage to snap three out of four and all from different sites. and also snapped a gravid fem lying under a bit of rusty tin, The first one was at 9am in the road side at Wareham forest area under some cardboard and they dont even make a dash for it like grassies and adders but they do like to tag you as soon as handled I class them as a brave fearless little snakes.::: The down side is because they are not jittery and take of straight away means they could be nobbled by predators or unsympathetic humans who dont like snakes!.
