Dave, The downside of growing up in the Lake District was the clegs (horseflies to southerners) and mosquitoes! Swimming in a lake any bit of you stuck out of the water might get clegged and mossies made a meal of you whilst fishing, especially when night fishing. We never wore shorts! |

Suzi, just putting some refuges out this evening in the rain and still got clegged as you call it but they left Mick who was with me alone, still a grass snake popping up when we were least expecting it,made the bites worth while.
