Hi folks,

Just to cheer everyone up after sickening events in Woking and shoddy "exclusion fencing" that wouldn't exclude anything, I got thoroughly soaked this evening during my second GCN training session, 71 GCN counted somewhere in London, this is a translocated population that is thriving.

Also a neotenous female Smooth Newt, this is the first I have seen in years, appearing full adult size with gills retained.

Jolly good too! When did the translocation take place, and what was the assessed size of the original population?

I think Will from LEHART said it was '96 and from 50 rescued GCN 25 were relocated at this site.
