Hi all this may be a long shot but I would like to know if anyone can shed anymore light on the smooth snakes that were found on the M3 near Lightwater Country Park - I am interested in any sightings of smooth snakes pre 2002 - over the last 30 to 40 years. Does anyone have any sightings of smooth snakes from around this area - if so a date, rough location/name of nearest town, and how many (in a private ms) The reason I am tracking down this population for works nearby - I have one year of surveying so far and no joy I know that at Lightwater CP there has been a survey for the last few years and I would like to hear from anyone who has been checking this site for sand lizards or smoothies Regards JC |
