Well Tim Tom in the interests of posting something to keep us going here's a frog from under a cover near my largest pond. The other week there were two under here. Photographed today, early afternoon. A mild blustery day. Nothing under any of my other covers. I looked last night and saw two small newtlets but they didn't photograph very well, and not seen tonight.
Not sure if it is eating that slug or not. Notice it is covered in leeches.

love seeing your optics suz. especially the slowworms, and seeing how late in the year they remain active.

on the subject of things being a bit quiet on the forum. i really think of members as friends but have never met any in person. i wonder if it's worth re-kindling the idea of a meet up in the spring?
