Hi all
possibly teaching Granny to suck eggs here, but if not, id like to highlight this website. its aerial photos (any idea which aircraft was used here Gemma??) of the UK 1919-1953. the site is constantly being updated with new shots and, if you join, you can zoom in on habitat and also view others location 'pins' to help you navigate. a fascinating resource in many contexts! ive been using it to examine a couple of local adder sites and found it most revealing - i can now view what looks like additional (then) adjacent habitat. maybe handy for other hopeful "Add An Adder" searchers? http://www.britainfromabove.org.uk/ thanks Edited by Liz Heard - 05 May 2013 at 7:13pm |
