I saw I think it was 7 today.  14 degC and sunny.



This one had a very white patch near the tip of its ... err ... tail.  Which makes me wonder - where does a snake's body stop and its tail start?  I'm sure that question's been asked before.



Is this disease, a sign of sloughing or bird crap?

Also this Adder was with a Grass Snake in exactly (to the nearest foot) the same place as I saw the same thing a couple of years ago.



I know Tony P was interested in this behaviour - how common is it?
