Hi, we found this little chap today hiding in my son's shoe. We live in Cambridge, UK. We have common frogs living in the garden, is this a young toad? Identification websites don't help. Thank you.

Marvellous, thank you so much Gemma. I am very excited about this new discover, I hope he's alright now because he ran under the furniture and his little heart was beating rather fast when we got him out and my son put in back in the pond. I hope this was the right thing to do and that the poor little toad wasn't too stressed by the whole event!
