Thats a herp keeping society so dont hold your breath about native herps as often keepers dont seem to be very active in the field work side of things though I could be wrong. I would contact Dr John Baker ARG UK support Officer for more information on getting together with other volunteers in the area J |

Not sure how active the Cheshire group is, but you can also try the North Merseyside Group and the S. Lancs Group.

Hi - Don't really know of any groups in Cheshire. I can certainly help you out with sites for Grass Snake and Common Lizard, both fairly abundant. The counties only Slow Worm site is pretty much off limits and Adder is more less an impossibilty being found at only a few inaccessible sites.
