interesting. how did you find it rob and how long ago, and how many snakes use it?

Hi Tim, I found it about four years ago and I'd say around eight or nine.
I haven't seen any females around there yet though, either a little too early still (the spot is quite shaded) or maybe they only use it as an overnighter and hibernate elsewhere.
