   I know I've said it before, but how many millions of pheasants are out there, predating our native wildlife including reptiles, with their numbers being artifically inflated with diet supplemented by their human keepers?  a bit like the avian equivalent of cats, I guess.  Still, excellent sequence of pictures in the link from Gio proving the innate repticidal nature of even the youngest pheasant!
