I was having real trouble viewing this video, it kept reloading and showing me adverts every two minutes. I wish Alan would actually ask the
experts the questions rather than that Ellie Harrison. She didn't get any of the points across very well because she obiovusly doesn't know much about those species. I don't think otters and sand lizards mind litter that much. And watch out for red kites when driving!!!!!!! Well done for getting through it Chris! Edited by Mark_b - 06 Sep 2011 at 7:33pm |

Hi Mark & Tim I actually tried to reply to this yesterday but have obviously forgotten how to use my own forum! Many thanks for your kind comments. It is a little frustrating when you can't get to say more, but every little bit of publicity for our wee beasties counts. As for Ellie, she certainly has got a good broad knowledge, but wouldn't pretend to be an expert on our herps. As for litter, the main point i.e. bottles and cans was omitted but both can be absolute death traps for our little critters so even the general term "litter" is worth making. And the condemnation of track bikes which Alan brought up was also valuable. In all fairness, the show is not in anyway scripted after the initial introduction so everyone, expert or not, has to "make it up as they went along"! All the best Chris |
