This little beauty dropped in to see what I was doing yesterday, and, as these are probably my favourite insects (aside from the Hornet) I thought I'd share it.

Lucky you Rob, I see many of these beauties around my pond and their larger relatives the dragonflies - but they seldom pose for me and certainly not on my hand. Particularly nice shot in the circumstances.
